# Overview

> BigBlueButton Enhanced is an enhanced version of BigBlueButton offered as SaaS hosting by Blindside networks

Blindside Networks is the creators of BigBlueButton.  We fund the major development of BigBlueButton, manage each of the releases, and support the open source project.

For educational organizations looking for commical hosting of BigBlueButton, we provide an enhaned version as SaaS offering.

You'll also find BigBlueButton Enhanced embedded into Canvas, Schoology, and Moodle Cloud.

## Canvas

There are two versions

* **Essentials**: the essential capabilities to use BigBlueButton with limitations (see table below)
* **Enhanced**: Our Enhanced version many value added capabilities to ensure you have the highest learning outcomes.
