# Subplugins

> Understand how BigBlueButton extension subplugins are surfaced in Moodle and how they can expand the integration.

Some Moodle sites include BigBlueButton extension subplugins that add extra features on top of the core activity.

## What subplugins can change

Depending on the site, subplugins may add:

* extra room settings
* enhanced recording workflows
* analytics and reporting
* guest approval flows
* presentation enhancements
* custom integrations

## Admin responsibility

Administrators should document which extensions are installed on their site because they can change both the teacher workflow and the user interface.

## Best practice

When troubleshooting, always confirm whether a behavior comes from:
