A no-cost hosted BigBlueButton service is available for edX and Open edX courses, provided by Blindside Networks. To use it, select “Free” from the “Select a plan” dropdown in the Live app configuration and click Save — no further setup is required. The free tier has these limits:
  • sessions run up to 60 minutes
  • up to 25 concurrent users per session
  • recordings expire after 7 days and cannot be downloaded
  • student webcams are visible only to the moderator.
