BigBlueButton can participate in Moodle activity completion. Activity completion overview in the BigBlueButton plugin

Requirement

Activity completion depends on the BigBlueButton server sending live events back to Moodle, and on Moodle being configured to receive them.

Enable it

  1. Log in as an administrator.
  2. Open the BigBlueButton plugin settings.
  3. Enable Register live events or the equivalent site option.
  4. Save the setting.

Test it

If your Moodle server is behind a restrictive firewall, the callback might not reach Moodle correctly. A simple test is:
  1. enable live events
  2. create a test recording
  3. set a very low attendance threshold
  4. confirm that the completion signal is received and processed
