If a BigBlueButton activity has been deleted, the references to the recordings may still exist in the Moodle database while the plugin remains installed.

What controls visibility

An administrator can enable settings that allow recordings from deleted activities to appear in the interface. Depending on the site:
  • new activities may include those recordings by default
  • existing activities may require the teacher to enable the option manually

When this is useful

This is especially helpful when a course needs to recover access to recordings even though the original activity was removed.
