BigBlueButton activities can be enabled to provide recording during live sessions. Administrators can control the defaults that teachers see when they create new activities.

Common defaults

Recording defaults may include:
  • whether sessions can be recorded by default
  • how recordings are displayed in the activity
  • whether recordings from deleted activities are included
  • whether imported recordings are shown

These defaults shape the teacher experience and reduce the need to configure the same recording behavior repeatedly in every course.
